Wildcrafted plantain leaves, ready for your next cup of herbal tea. To be clear, this the the herbal plantain not the banana-like fruit.
Each package is approximately 10g, and shipped in a resealable plastic bag to keep them fresh. Great for tea, or as an ingredient in a topical skin product like lotion or salve.
In traditional herbal medicine, plantain is excellent for:
- easing coughs
- inflammation
- used topically for wound healing and irritated skin
- soothing ulcers or gastritis
As with all of our herbs, the plantain leaves are all picked gently by hand without harming the plants and then dried immediately. Our harvesting areas can vary, but are all in natural areas around Kingston and Napanee Ontario.
