Description
Wildcrafted motherwort that includes a mix of dried leaves and flowers, ready for tea or making into a tincture. Be aware that motherwort is quite bitter and the tea may need a little sweetening.
Each package is approximately 10g, and shipped in a resealable bag to keep them fresh. Take care when using, some of the flower portions are a little prickly. Strain well if you are making tea.
In traditional herbal medicine, motherwort is used for:
- uterine health and to promote a healthy menstrual cycle
- reducing menstrual cramping
- calming heart palpitations and lowering anxiety
- easing symptoms of high blood pressure
Note, motherwort should not be used during pregnancy
As with all of our herbs, our motherwort is all picked gently by hand and dried immediately. Our harvesting areas can vary, but are all in natural areas around Kingston and Napanee Ontario.
