This item is a 10g bag of dried calendula flowers. You can use this as an herbal tea or as an ingredient topical products like salves or tinctures. It’s definitely more commonly used as a topical (skin) medicine.
In traditional herbal medicine, calendula is:
– anti-inflammatory
– helpful in wound healing (topical)
– treats sores, rashes and irritated skin (topical)
Our calendula is cultivated, meaning that is was purposely planted and grown in our natural herb garden. We don’t spray with anything (only natural compost as fertilizer), and all of our flowers are gently picked by hand. Calendula is also known as pot marigold.
